ESE has worked in the design of many biomass plants producing energy from the most different sources (municipal and industrial wastes, wood chip, straw, rice hulls, bagasse, vegetable oil, etc.), taking care of all aspects of the project – thermal cycle optimization, boiler choice, biomass handling system.

ESE has also supported Waste-to-Energy Boiler manufacturers in their effort to approach the Italian market.

Gasification and pyrolysis

ESE has expertise on small gasification and pyrolysis plants for plastic waste and biomass, being able to provide support in the study of such technologies for waste/biomass to fuel and waste/biomass to power applications.
